Hey family, we’re Ayize and Aiyana Ma’at, and for almost 30 years, we’ve been walking this journey together—not just as a couple, but as two people committed to building strong families, real community, and spaces where people can heal and grow.
You might know us from Black Love and Marriage (BLAM), where we’ve spent years helping couples strengthen their relationships. But our work has always been bigger than just marriage—it’s about people, families, and community. Aiyana created The Art of Overcoming, a space where women do deep healing and personal growth. Ayize founded King Me, a movement for men who are ready to step fully into their power and leadership. And through our parent company, Be Intentional, everything we do is about helping people show up as their best selves—not just in relationships, but as parents, siblings, friends, and community members.
This trip to Ghana is a continuation of that work. It’s about connection—connection to our roots, to our families, and to each other. Whether you’re coming with your spouse, your kids, your siblings, or even on your own, you’ll be surrounded by people who share a vision: to build something greater, to heal generational wounds, to embrace joy, and to experience the power of being in a space where we all belong.
This isn’t just a vacation—it’s a moment to pause, reflect, and pour into yourself and the people you love. It’s an opportunity to travel with purpose, to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.
We would love for you to come with us. Are you ready? Let’s go.
